Buyers advice
EU member States
Overseas purchasers must supply the Auctioneers with their VAT/FISCAL number. They will be required to pay the purchase price in full on the sale day plus 20% deposit which is the equivalent to the VAT. This deposit will be refunded in full if the Auctioneers receive within 3 months a Bill of Loading or Certificate of Shipment from the Shipping or Transport Co. showing the date, place & vessel involved as proof of shipment for HM Customs & Excise. Photocopies WILL NOT be accepted unless authenticated by Customs & Excise. This condition will be strictly adhered to without exception. Download advice guidelines for VAT.

IF YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED YOUR GREEN NUMBER PLEASE CONTACT THE RELEVANT OFFICE TO HAVE ONE SENT IN THE POST OR COME INTO THE SALE OFFICE TO CHANGE YOUR NUMBER AS SOON AS POSSIBLE ON THE DAY. NO PINK OR BLUE CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
Non EU member states
Same requirements as EU residents though there is a 6 month limit in order to provide all export documentation.

Important – Removal of Goods
Please note that ALL items (both purchases and any unsold items) MUST be removed from the sale ground by 12 noon on the Saturday following the sale. After this time any items remaining will be disposed of by the Auctioneers and any costs arising from the disposal of such items will be charged back to the owner.
Payments
Payment can be made by Cash, Cheque, Debit Card (£1 Handling Charge on all transactions of £25 or under) Credit Card (2.5% charge on Credit Cards).
Important
New purchasers will require proof of identity Showing Name, Address and signature eg: Driving Licence or Utility Bill and passport.
Sellers advice
Important – Delivery of Goods
Stone - Delivery of goods Stone: Thursday from 8am to 5pm Delivery on Friday am ONLY by arrangement with the Auctioneers.. A forklift machine will be available to assist customers.
Shrewsbury - The site will be open on the Wednesday prior to the sale from 8am – 5.00pm for delivery of items. A forklift machine will be available to assist customers.
Late Entries
We will continue to invite additional items that are not listed in the catalogue.
VAT
Will be chargeable in addition to the hammer price on the majority of goods sold. Please purchase assuming VAT will be charged unless advised to the contrary. VAT status of items being sold can be ascertained at the time of sale.
