Professional Valuations
We provide a professional valuation service for private clients, solicitors and professional advisers.
An inventory of the contents of your house is a valuable record. We tailor make each valuation depending on the clients' needs and provide a professional document for your records. We offer a strictly confidential service at a highly competitive rate. We are always happy to visit you to discuss your specific requirements and the proposed valuation, and will also provide a quotation for the amount of work to be undertaken which will be based on a "time spent" basis.
We prepare valuations for:
Retail Replacement - which can include a fully illustrated inventory
Probate - we will liaise with solicitors to prepare a full inventory and arrange the clearance of the house if required.

Family Division
Current Market Values
Tax Advice - as affected by the sale of works of art and antiques.
Conditionally exempted works of art - working with clients, accountants or solicitors.
Our professional fees are calculated on an hourly basis at £150 + VAT for the first hour (including travel within a 30mile radius of Shrewsbury) and £90 + VAT for each subsequent hour.
Valuations prepared outside the 30 mile radius will attract an additional call out charge of £40 + VAT.
Written valuations for insurance or for any other purpose, given on our premises, carry a minimum fee of £75 + VAT.
